Privacy policy

SouvenirPix ("we", "us") takes souvenir photos of guests at restaurants, resorts, attractions and tours ("venues") and delivers them through a private online gallery. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Photos and videos our photographers (or a venue's photographers using SouvenirPix) take of you and your group.
• The mobile number, email address and name you give the photographer, or enter on a booking, waiver or our QR code page, so we can send your gallery link.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• How you use your gallery: views, downloads, shares, reviews and offers you open, and basic device information.

How we use it

• To send you your private photo link and receipts, and to answer your questions.
• To show the venue how its photo program is doing (for example, how many guests opened their photos). Venues see totals and the reviews you choose to leave.
• To send occasional offers from SouvenirPix or the venue where you were photographed, if you agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to meet legal requirements.

Text messages (SMS)

When you give your mobile number to a SouvenirPix photographer, or enter it on our QR code page, a booking or a waiver, you agree to receive text messages from SouvenirPix about your photos (your gallery link, reminders before photos expire, receipts) and occasional offers from SouvenirPix and the venue. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share phone numbers only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf (see below).

Who we share it with

• The venue where you were photographed: your photos and gallery activity, so they can see results and serve you. Venues don't receive your phone number for their own marketing unless you agree to it separately.
• Service providers who run parts of our service for us under contract: hosting and storage, payments (Stripe), and messaging and email delivery (GoHighLevel and its carriers).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Photos you haven't bought are deleted after the time the venue sets (usually a few days). Bought photos stay available for the period shown in your gallery, or longer if you choose to keep them. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts; use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails.
• Ask us to delete your photos or contact details, or to tell you what we hold about you, by replying HELP to any of our texts or contacting us through souvenirpix.app.

Children

Photos of children are taken only with a parent or guardian present, and the gallery link goes to the adult who gave their contact details. We don't knowingly collect contact details from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the gallery.
